NEWSEVENTS CALENDAR

NEWS:

The Lord's family just keeps on growing! - (February 25)
From Bill: "Both Brianna Girimont and David Yancey were baptized into Christ after returning from Winterfest last Sunday night. About thirty of us gathered at the church building at 10:00 p.m. to await the return of our "kids" from Gatlinburg, TN and upon their arrival we witnessed the baptism of Brianna by Jeff Shy. We sang and prayed together before leaving. Several followed the group to the Gloucester, VA church building where David was baptized by a long time friend who now preaches at the Gloucester congregation. I am sure that the reception there was just as joyous and that much rejoicing was again enjoyed. We welcome Brianna and David to the family here in Williamsburg and pray for a beautiful spiritual journey as they make their way home to Heaven. We commit to them our encouragement along the journey!"

Another addition to the Lord's family! - (February 15)
We all rejoiced last Sunday at the baptism of Michaiah Vega! This was a great occasion for both the Vega family and the church family. This "unites" the Vega family in Christ and is such a joy and comfort to them all. Please congratulate Michaiah the next time you see her!

Help needed to renovate the church - (February 13)
From Howard Moffit: "I am to planning on scheduling 2 work days back to back for the remodeling of the Old fellowship Room and Old Kitchen on March 6th and March 13th. I would like to invite all that would be able to help and that would enjoy working with demolition of various building components, installation of wall framing, installation of ceiling panels, installation of wood trim and a assortment of other construction tasks. If you have any questions, or if you can let me know if you can come, then call me at 757-236-3775, or e-mail me at hmoffitt@moffitt-restoration.com or at hmoffitt@cox.net . We will be planning on doing a lot of the work on these 2 work days but we will be continuing the work in different areas and duties for weeks to come, so we can use help in lots of areas."
